About the Role
Yooralla is seeking a passionate and positive relationship builder to join our team as a permanent full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist in the North (Glenroy) region. This fulfilling role will provide best practice, evidence-based occupational therapy services across the scope of practice to adults and young people with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community, aimed at maximising a person's functional skills and participation as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing.
- Work as part of an interdisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists.
- Provide indirect customer service/family coordination to support client goals.
About You
You'll be an established and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist with a tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline, good interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage people with a disability, motivate them, and build their capability. You'll have an ability to work in partnership with adults and young people with a disability to set and achieve goals, and to work collaboratively with the person's supports, including their families.
