Occupational Therapist for Adults with Disability

Are you a skilled Occupational Therapist seeking a fulfilling career opportunity? Do you have experience working with adults and young people with disability to achieve their goals?
We are looking for a passionate and positive relationship builder to join our team as a permanent full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist. This rewarding role will provide best practice, evidence-based occupational therapy services across the scope of practice to adults and young people with a disability to achieve their goals and live the life they choose.
Your working days may involve delivering therapy in people's homes, educational settings, or in the community; aimed at maximising a person's functional skills and participation as well as promoting physical health and wellbeing. You will work part of an interdisciplinary team of Speech Pathologists, Physiotherapists, and Psychologists and provide indirect customer service/family coordination to support client goals.
To be successful in this role, you will share Yooralla's values and have:
- experience working within a transdisciplinary/multidisciplinary team model
- the ability to build positive relationships with clients and their families
- a willingness to improve on your clinical practice – including the ability to self-reflect and a focus on developing clinical skills in areas you're not familiar with
- care for the work you do and for the people you work with
- competency in a variety of IT platforms, particularly client management systems
- good verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- AHPRA Registration (Occupational Therapy), and
- an Australian driver's licence and own vehicle, and a willingness to travel across Northern Melbourne region, as required
The salary range for this role is $85,380.74 - $104,551.89 per annum, depending on experience.
