Role Overview

MUFG Retirement Solutions is committed to empowering employers and retirement funds with innovative solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and employee engagement. As the Product Director for Employer Solutions, your role is pivotal in developing and managing innovative solutions tailored to employers within the superannuation and retirement funds industry.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Define and communicate the strategic vision for employer solutions, aligning with the unique needs of superannuation and retirement funds.
  • Identify market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies to inform strategic decision-making and product development efforts.
  • Lead the strategic and commercial management of MUFG Retirement Employer Solutions, ensuring smooth implementation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to enhance the functionality, adoption, and competitiveness of employer solutions.
  • Define clear objectives, milestones, and success criteria for product initiatives, and track progress towards achieving them.
  • Monitor solution performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement measures to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of experience in product management, with a focus on digital / SaaS HR technology or employer solutions, preferably in the superannuation and retirement funds industry.
  • 3-5 years of experience managing independent software vendor partners, supply agreements and joint go-to-market strategy and promotion.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Large-scale B2B2C and B2C SaaS web and mobile application production, delivery, and support experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze market trends, client needs, and solution performance metrics.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Deep understanding of the superannuation and retirement funds industry, including regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
  • Proven track record of driving product innovation, adoption, and revenue growth in a similar industry context.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
