About the role

We seek an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure projects in Sydney, NSW. This permanent position offers great career prospects with a privately-owned tier 1 constructor and international engineering enterprise.

Key responsibilities

  • Able to perform detailed review and analysis of Cost Plans for large complex projects, including full measurement and rating exercises. Prepare cost plans that facilitate easy optioneering.
  • Complete detailed cost reporting forms.
  • Have a comprehensive understanding of cost and budget information for project reports.
  • Prepare reliable forecasts of cash inflow and outflow for complex projects.

About you

  • A construction management, building, or engineering degree coupled with extensive post-graduate experience in contract administration within the construction industry.
  • Possess MRICS or be working towards certification.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of contract management, program financial management, risk management, performance reporting, budget preparation, and administration.
  • Able to articulate quality standards and expectations to relevant stakeholders applicable to their project/function.
  • Methodical approach to planning and executing projects using appropriate controls.
  • Deliver agreed outcomes ensuring the project is managed within budget and time frames.
