
Chief Construction Administrator

The role of a Senior Contracts Administrator is pivotal in the successful execution of commercial construction projects. As a key member of the project team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of contracts administration, including reviewing and negotiating contracts, liaising with subcontractors and suppliers, monitoring contract performance, maintaining accurate documentation and records, and contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management processes.
With your extensive experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator in the commercial construction industry, you will possess a sound knowledge of construction contracts, regulations and industry best practices. Your strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with stakeholders, facilitate smooth project delivery and ensure timely resolution of claims and variations.
- Reviewing and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers and internal stakeholders to facilitate project delivery.
- Monitoring contract performance, claims and variations to minimize risks.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records throughout the project lifecycle.
To excel in this role, you will ideally possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Contracts Administrator in the commercial construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations and industry best practices.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools.
