About the role

We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Junior Administration professional to join the team at Craig Rynne Construction in our Annerley, Queensland office. In this full-time role, you will provide vital administrative support to our growing construction business, ensuring efficient day-to-day operations and contributing to the overall success of the company.

What you'll be doing

  • Providing general administrative support, including answering phone calls, managing correspondence, and maintaining organized filing systems
  • Assisting with the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documents as required
  • Coordinating schedules, booking appointments, and arranging meetings
  • Supporting the procurement of office supplies and equipment
  • Performing data entry and other clerical duties as needed
  • Contributing to the implementation of office procedures and systems
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow

What we're looking for

  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other common office software
  • Look after the Office area so that it presents in a professional manner general clean and tidy
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the office and wider team
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and general inquiries with 12 hr timeframe
  • Assist with document management, filing, data entry, and maintaining records
  • Coordinate meetings, schedule appointments, and manage calendars
  • Assist in preparing internal reports, forms, and correspondence
  • Look after apprenticeship enrolments for all apprentices and ensure administration of them is kept up to date
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in all tasks
  • A team-player attitude and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues
  • Prior experience in an administrative or customer service role, preferably in the construction industry
  • Australian citizenship is required for this position
  • Year 12 completion or equivalent qualification is required
