Rinnai Australia, a market leader in hot water, heating, cooling and renewable energy appliances, is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join its Commercial Sales team.

Located in Melbourne, Australia, this role will suit a professional with a successful track record in technical product sales and business development, aiming to drive growth in the Commercial market.

The Role

  • Increase sales and market share of the Commercial business by operationalising business development initiatives.
  • Assist in the implementation of sales strategy for highly technical products.
  • Build and maintain strong customer-focused relationships within the industry.
  • Develop and maintain the sales of Commercial Hot Water systems by managing existing trade accounts and building new opportunities through plumbers, builders, developers, and hydraulic designers.
  • Provide technical support to external trade customers and internal account managers.
  • Play a key role in increasing awareness of the Rinnai Commercial brand within the market.

Requirements

  • A background in developing businesses, preferably with technical products.
  • Qualifications and/or experience in hydraulics or mechanical fields.
  • Experience within the construction, plumbing, or HVAC industries.
  • Highly developed negotiation skills.
  • The ability to build strong relationships and provide excellent customer care.
  • Technically-minded with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills.
