About the Role

This role reports to the AR Manager and works closely with key stakeholders to collect outstanding monies while maintaining excellent customer relationships. The successful candidate will manage a significant client ledger, ensuring timely debt recovery and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a substantial client portfolio, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Sales & Customer Service, to deliver outstanding customer support.
  • Address and resolve finance queries related to accounts.
  • Maintain open communication channels and keep detailed records of all customer interactions within our collection tool (Getpaid).
  • Work autonomously and collaboratively with other departments to address agreed-upon problems and provide exceptional service.
  • Engage with internal and external customers with diplomacy and professionalism to achieve high customer satisfaction and build lasting relationships.
  • Prepare weekly Aged Debtor reports from the Getpaid collection tool.
  • Process credit applications and create customer accounts in our accounting system.
  • Manage our shared email inbox.
Essential Skills, Experience and Competencies
  • A minimum of five years' experience in Credit Management or Finance is highly regarded.
  • The ability to prioritize customer needs and deliver exceptional service is essential.
  • A track record of forming strong relationships with internal stakeholders and driving process improvements is desirable.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure are crucial.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively and work within a dynamic team environment is vital.
  • Initiative, lateral thinking, and sound judgment are essential for this position.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
