We are seeking a skilled communicator from the Indigenous sector to join our Engagement and CSR team. The successful candidate will support key Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander stakeholders within SBS, including NITV, through ongoing engagement and consultation.
The role will involve implementing the engagement plan in line with our Community Impact Strategy, providing analysis of Indigenous policy matters, and sourcing research relevant to matters that inform SBS in relation to content, protocol, and operational matters pertaining to First Nations Australians.
You will work as part of the broader Engagement and Corporate Social Responsibility Team to ensure that relevant community and cultural considerations are addressed in the Team's work and outputs.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Indigenous communities, cultures, and protocols, excellent networks, organisation, and writing skills, and experience working within the Indigenous sector and/or within Indigenous Community.
