Business Development SpecialistWe are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Specialist to drive sales and rental growth in the oil and gas sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in business development or sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.About This Role

This full-time role is based at our Perth office and involves driving sales and rentals of pipeline equipment across the oil and gas sector. As a Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and supporting company growth initiatives.

  • Maintain and grow existing customer accounts while driving new sales and rental opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business leads through prospecting, networking, and relationship-building.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans in collaboration with the National Major Projects Manager.
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations to educate clients.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and contracts, negotiating and closing deals efficiently.
  • Build and enhance PSSS's presence across marketing platforms and professional networks.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and projects.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years' experience in business development or sales within pipelines, processing plants, or facilities (oil and gas sector preferred).
  • Ability to understand and clearly articulate technical product specifications.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with excellent relationship-building abilities.
  • Knowledge of pipeline equipment and industry trends is highly regarded.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
