Strategic HR Partner for APAC Business Growth

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic HR Partner to join our APAC team. As a key member of our HR leadership, you will be responsible for providing business partnering services to multiple locations and business units within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide HR business partnering services to managers across various locations and business units, coaching, guiding, and implementing strategies to meet short-term and long-term business goals.

* Build strong working relationships with regional and corporate shared service teams in specialist areas such as recruiting, training, compensation, and benefits.

* Coach and guide managers on talent acquisition, organizational design, performance management, succession planning, employee relations, engagement, and change programs.

* Support management in designing new positions in line with job families and working with the compensation team to guide appropriate grade/salary levels.

* Manage internal transfers end-to-end and support managers in interviewing senior roles.

* Investigate, resolve, and recommend solutions for employee issues, mediate when necessary, and work towards positive outcomes related to disputes and employee performance problems.

* Develop and implement effective strategies to enable the organization to thrive through periods of change.

* Guide managers in effectively managing long-term absence and occupational health matters.

* Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation specifically within Australia and the APAC region.

Requirements:

* A degree in a related discipline (Business Studies, HRM, Psychology, or similar) or equivalent education and experience.

* Proven track record of providing best practice HR Business Partner services in a busy HR department, with strong Australia experience essential but experience operating in multiple jurisdictions within APAC highly desirable.

* Demonstrates a strong background in employee relations and change management, including planning and project management through to effective delivery.

* Computer literate, particularly competent with Microsoft Office, comfortable with HRIS, and experience with Workday a plus.

* Must be able to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice and willingness to maintain HR qualifications.

* Experience working across multi-site organizations and providing remote support, prior experience supporting all levels of management, and background in supporting employee engagement initiatives.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum depending on experience.
