Document Administrator

About the Role:
  • As a key member of our Records team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues to deliver excellent records management services.
  • You will serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries and contribute significantly to the effective management of our records and recordkeeping systems.
Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Updating and maintaining critical databases, including document management systems.
  • Managing the flow of incoming information by collecting, scanning, and delivering mail, emails, and other documents.
  • Coordinating the sorting and dispatching of external mail and managing the Records counter.
  • Preparing files for archiving and disposal, ensuring compliance with retention policies.
  • Providing exceptional customer service as a first point of contact for telephone enquiries and supporting staff with records-related queries.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Have:
  • Experience with electronic and physical records, or a strong understanding of records management principles.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and experience with computerized case management systems.
  • A proven track record of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to tackling challenges.
