Job Overview

TOMRA is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to support the NSW Project Management Office with the planning and installation of Reverse Vending Machines throughout NSW.

The successful candidate will join a team of Project Managers and Coordinators working on the network in NSW, responsible for creating, maintaining, and updating project documentation, monitoring project progress, and coordinating communications to the wider project team.

Key responsibilities include assessing proposed sites for safety, functionality, and compliance, compiling site reports, contributing to budget forecasts, and seeking approval from critical stakeholders.

The role also involves stakeholder management, including liaising with vendors, contractors, local councils, consultants, and internal stakeholders within the Service department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create project reports and complete relevant documents for the installation process
  • Compile site proposals, audit packs, and site packs, providing feedback to the project installation team
  • Assist in conducting site audits when required
  • Collate project documentation, including safety documents, insurances, site work documentation, and inductions
  • Effectively hand over site documentation to the business from PMO once the project is completed
  • Manage contractors, obtaining necessary documentation for engagement
  • Coordinate project updates to the wider project team
  • Provide a framework for team members to follow to deliver the project on time and within budget
  • Assist the Project Team in solving technical and non-technical problems throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements:

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
  • Tertiary qualifications in Construction, Engineering, or a similar discipline
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within the construction or property development industries
  • A valid Australian driver's license and access to a personal vehicle
  • Excellent time management and organisation skills
  • Attention to detail to monitor and control project variables
  • Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members
  • Ability to make sound decisions
  • Motivated to achieve targets and contribute to a good team environment
