Clinical Trials Coordinator Role Overview

Ramsay Health Care is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our team at North Shore Private Hospital. As a Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the implementation and delivery of clinical trial activities, working closely with our dynamic team to change outcomes in care through the delivery of clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement clinical trial protocols, including patient recruitment, coordination of patient visits, and data collection in accordance with clinical trials protocols.
  • Assist with start-up processes for clinical trials, ensuring timely activation of the site.
  • Participate in the National Clinical Trials Network, attending national meetings and collaborating with stakeholders to develop clinical trials within Ramsay Health Care.
  • Develop and maintain systems to support operational activities of the clinical trials unit as required by the site and national team.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Experience in clinical research or clinical trials, with prior exposure to patient recruitment and clinical trial data management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and establish relationships with stakeholders and employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrated high-level oral and written skills, as well as conceptual and analytical skills to develop solutions and ensure research project success.
  • Ability to plan and pursue challenging goals while managing competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and legislation related to human research ethics and research governance within Australia.
