Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse needs and preferences of our residents, including those with dietary restrictions and preferences.
  • Lead and manage a team of catering assistants to ensure that meals are prepared and served efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with the lifestyle team to plan and cater for activities and events that promote social interaction and community engagement among residents.
  • Ensure that all food preparation and handling practices meet the highest standards of safety and hygiene.

Requirements
  • Certificate in Commercial Cookery or equivalent.

  • Proven track record of leading a team and managing a budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
