Executive Chef Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team at Parramatta Leagues Club Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing food preparation and meal service, ensuring the highest quality dishes are served to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate food preparation and meal service
  • Cook all dishes on the menu
  • Provide training to cooks and kitchen hands and evaluate their performance
  • Ensure the quality of dishes at all stages of the kitchen processes
  • Create new menu dishes
  • Manage stock and orders with suppliers
  • Assist with selecting and training new staff
  • Oversee the cleaning of work surfaces and equipment
  • Attend employee meetings and prepare staff rosters

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar position in a busy environment
  • Minimum Diploma in cookery, kitchen management, or hospitality management (preferred)
  • Excellent people skills and a suitable attitude to lead and grow a team
  • Experience in a similar position in a hotel, restaurant, or club environment
  • Ability to take the initiative and lead in practical roles
