The role of Reservations Manager plays a vital part in ensuring the success of our hotel operations.

Job Overview

As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for managing incoming enquiries and communicating with clients to deliver exceptional service. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will ensure seamless management of special accounts and travel agency statistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support reservations team members to maintain high standards of service delivery
  • Communicate monthly objectives to increase occupancy and revenue through effective communication and strategic planning
  • Handle incoming reservations enquiries via telephone and email, up-selling and maximising revenue opportunities
  • Input bookings in rooms to maximise back-to-back bookings and monitor room allotments and availability
  • Coordinate group bookings and maintain records of special accounts and travel agency statistics
  • Problem solve systems issues and customer requests in a timely and professional manner

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in hotel reservations with a proven track record of delivering results
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Natural problem solver with excellent analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent and articulate communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
