Job Overview

The Reservations Supervisor role is instrumental in delivering exceptional guest experiences by guiding and mentoring the reservations team. Key responsibilities include coaching team members to achieve sales and revenue growth.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Train and coach reservations sales agents on core duties and procedures
  • Liaise with colleagues to ensure seamless availability, pricing, and methodology
  • Process and input reservations according to established protocols
  • E nsure compliance with stop sells on room types, market segments, and rate levels among the team
  • Monitor daily forward reservations for optimization opportunities
  • Manage arrival checks in collaboration with the Reservations Manager
  • Take direct reservations when necessary, including executive bookings
  • Promote upselling within the Reservations team through regular engagement
  • Regularly review company and agent profiles for duplication and inaccuracies
  • Examine VIP bookings with the Reservations Manager to optimize services
  • In absence of the Reservations Manager, implement inventory planning into distribution systems
  • Attend weekly meetings to discuss availability, no show production, and booking patterns
  • Provide reporting as required, including production metrics

Qualifications:

  • Previous supervisory experience in a related field
  • A customer-centric attitude with an outgoing personality and service-oriented approach
  • Ability to work under pressure and delegate tasks effectively
  • Excellent English language skills, with knowledge of another language advantageous
