About Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, located in the historic Rocks district, sparkling Harbour and buzzing CBD, we are looking for a skilled Reservations Manager.

This is a key leadership role within our hotel team, responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the reservations department.

We require an experienced hospitality professional with a proven ability to lead a team, implement revenue strategies and provide an exceptional guest experience.

  • Maintain Global standards on reservation related areas (Market code, profile, data field) and work closely with the Worldwide Reservations Office and Corporate teams

  • Be involved in revenue management decisions such as inventory management, distribution channel management, overbooking and weekly 21 day forecasting

  • Actively drive sales for the Hotel by maintaining business relationships with travel agents, corporate and leisure business

  • Work closely with other departments on a day to day basis including Sales and Front Desk

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the Reservations department

  • Lead, coach, motivate and develop our large on site reservations team

  • Focus on quality assurance, call and email conversion, voice sales effectiveness, sell out and upsell efficiency

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a leader within reservations or front office in a large international 5* hotel

  • Solid verbal and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work with complex software systems in order to manage the department. Strong working knowledge of Opera is desirable
