About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee the prompt, courteous, and accurate handling of all room reservations.

  1. Key Responsibilities:

    • Supervise and support the reservations team, ensuring high levels of customer service and efficiency.
    • Oversee and manage daily reservation activities including individual, group, and corporate bookings.
    • Ensure all bookings are accurately recorded in the property management system (PMS) and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
    • Work closely with the revenue and sales teams to monitor availability, rate strategy, and booking trends.
    • Handle escalated reservation queries or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
    • Train and develop team members, ensuring they follow company standards and procedures.
    • Assist with reporting on occupancy, booking pace, and other key reservation metrics.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room rates, packages, promotions, and market trends.
    • Liaise with other departments to ensure smooth communication regarding special requests, VIP bookings, or group arrangements.

About You
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A minimum of 2 years proven experience in hotel reservations or front office operations, with supervisory experience.
  • Familiarity with property management systems (PMS).
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Fluent English, verbally & written.
  • Experience providing prompt and efficient service, including upselling skills is advantageous.
