We are looking for a personable and detail-oriented Reservations Assistant to join our team. As a Reservations Assistant, you will support our Reservations & Events Manager in managing enquiries, coordinating bookings, and delivering a high standard of guest experience. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a passion for hospitality.
- Responsibilities:_
- Accurately process bookings, update systems, and maintain reservation records
- Provide information on our services, menu options, and special events to guests
- Liaise with other departments and venue teams to ensure smooth coordination and preparation for bookings
- Support the Reservations & Events Manager with event coordination and administration as needed
- Monitor reservation inboxes and respond promptly to guest enquiries
- Manage guest special requests, dietary requirements, and seating preferences
- Conducting market research in the private functions and events space
- Lead generation
- Deliver a friendly and welcoming experience to all guests, promoting our brand values and hospitality standards
- Requirements:_
- Previous experience in a hospitality, customer service, or administrative role preferred
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in reservation management systems (Sevenrooms is highly advantageous)
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively
- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences
