This role involves leading a small team in driving business retention and expansion. The team will focus on selling the portfolio in Australia and New Zealand to exceed assigned annual targets.
The successful candidate will develop and nurture strategic customer relationships, as well as drive business growth through innovative strategies. Key responsibilities include creating business development plans for the portfolio, managing existing accounts, and prospecting for new business opportunities.
In addition, the ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree or PhD in Life Sciences with a strong background in molecular biology and genetics. Sales experience of 5+ years, preferably with relationship management skills, is also required.
The incumbent will need to have a strong understanding of market trends, products, and workflows for qPCR, dPCR, and microarray.
Main Responsibilities:- Create business development plans for the portfolio
- Manage existing accounts and prospect for new business opportunities
- Lead by example with standard processes in account management and planning
- Partner and collaborate with local sales, FAS, FSE teams to upskill colleagues and coordinate a company approach with customers
- Master's Degree or PhD in Life Sciences with a strong background in molecular biology and genetics
- Sales experience: 5+ years relevant sales experience and relationship management preferred
- Strong understanding of market trends, products, and workflows for qPCR, dPCR, and microarray
