Executive Chef Assistant

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commis Chef to join our team at RACV Noosa Resort. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for assisting with the effective operation of the kitchen, working closely with other staff to provide high-quality service to our members and guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, presentation, and service
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment
- Rotate stock and minimize waste
- Follow directions from senior chefs and work as a team player
- Follow WHS policies and procedures
Requirements
- Completed a Certificate 3 in Cookery qualification, recognized in Australia
- Previous cooking experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or a la carte restaurant environment
- Developed knife and cookery skills
- Thrives in a large, busy, and fast-paced work environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow direction
- Committed to cooking with a strong focus on food quality and presentation
- Full working rights in Australia
