Role Description:

In close collaboration with customers and other teams, we identify new service business opportunities.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Field service work/Workshop repairs: attend site and perform breakdowns, preventative maintenance, install and commission equipment.
  • Planning/Coordination: prepare and control material, equipment, and documentation needed for site activities.
  • Repair: conduct detailed inventories and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and report results.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment, recommending changes to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting: prepare technical and work reports for customer representative signature.
  • Customer regulation: obtain necessary passes or attend classes for commencing works.
Your Background:

A mechanical trade certificate or 2-3 years' experience working in turbochargers on marine vessels or mechanical fitter/diesel fitter is required.

Experience in rotating machinery service, particularly in turbocharging service, is preferred.

Familiarity with turbochargers and product service knowledge of various types installed on two-stroke or four-stroke engines is advantageous.

Proficiency in operating rotating machinery, such as balancing machines, lathes, and drills, and using metrics and measuring tools is necessary.

Australian citizenship or permanent residency is mandatory, with approximately 40% travel to sites for field service work.
