Account Executive

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Executive to join our team in Canberra, Australia. As an Account Executive, you will play a key role in expanding Teradata's capabilities and ecosystem across a portfolio of existing and new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Results and Growth: Achieve specific sales objectives within assigned accounts, build a pipeline of opportunities for services and technology, and ensure order and revenue goal attainment.
- Strategic Prospecting and Account Planning: Research prospective organisations, develop value propositions for Teradata solutions, and utilize structured approaches for identifying and measuring potential new business.
- Reporting, Administration, and Training: Complete and submit account and opportunity cadence, build and manage pipeline within Salesforce, and meet reporting standards.
- Account and Opportunity Management: Develop and maintain Territory Plans and Account Plans in accordance with established templates.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10+ years of experience in solutions sales or closely related fields.
- Experience in selling complex technology solutions, such as ERP solutions and bundled hardware, software, professional services, and technical services.
- Knowledge across Business Intelligence, Data and Analytics, and AI/ML is preferred.
- Demonstrated success in building, elevating, and nurturing relationships within key prospects resulting in new customer business.
- Understanding of and success in a sales environment requiring creation of capital expenditure plans and budgets.
