We're seeking a skilled Sales Executive to join our team at Slalom, expanding our presence in Canberra. As a key player in our sales efforts, you'll serve as a trusted partner for our clients, crafting customised business plans and driving predictable sales engagement processes.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with account and practice teams to drive activity, working closely with the Slalom Technology partners.
  • Build a diverse pipeline by working with new and existing clients to secure long-term accounts and relationships for Slalom.
  • Meet with buyers within your territory to learn about client initiatives and represent Slalom's capabilities.
  • Create and sustain a book of business across various offerings and accounts.
  • Utilise Slalom's sales platforms to drive a forward-looking forecast while collaborating with Account and Practice leaders.
  • Leverage alliances to lead partnership relationships.
  • Develop strong connections with our consultants, leveraging their networks to identify opportunities.
  • Take a leading role in new and identified accounts.
  • Host marketing events to facilitate connection between Slalom and potential clients.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with senior executives from our clients.
  • Mentor other sellers within the market.
Requirements
  • Possess a passion for sales and technology, able to collaborate effectively with clients and alliance partners to drive growth.
  • Hold 5+ years of sales experience within Professional Services.
  • Demonstrate proven experience in managing a complete sales cycle.
  • Show an ability to work in ambiguity and thrive in establishing new contacts and opportunities.
  • Exhibit strong relationship-building skills with a process-oriented approach, capable of working with virtual and in-person teams.
  • Have experience in budget and deal management, including relationship management, scoping, solutioning, pricing, and contracting of new engagements.
  • Show expertise in building relationships across the business, including CXOs and business decision-makers.
  • Be skilled in leading teams through complex technology solution sales.
  • Adeptly align teams towards a common goal, demonstrating strong people and financial management skills.
  • Be creative and innovative, with a forward-thinking approach while collaborating and delivering as part of a team.
  • Show self-motivation, eager to work within a dynamic team of professional services specialists.
About the Role

This is a hybrid position, allowing for flexibility between remote and office work. However, there may be expectations to meet on-site requirements depending on your team leader.
