We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our Tech Strategy & Architecture team in Sydney. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing data and information across the full information management lifecycle, from acquisition and usage to archival and destruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Enterprise Data Models and Flows
  • Define and maintain enterprise taxonomies, and meta-data architectures
  • Setup, promote and enforce standards on data related topics like models, data types, naming conventions
  • Improve Data Literacy across the organisation to facilitate better understanding and utilisation of data
  • Work closely with Solution Architects to review and align solutions to data architecture standards
  • Facilitate and enforce Data Governance as part of the development process
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of industry best practices around data architecture and data management in both cloud based and on premise solutions
  • Strong experience in enterprise data modelling, preferably in the banking or financial services sector
  • Strong experience in data integration solutions both in batch and real time environments
  • Expertise in Data Platform architectures (DWH, Data Mesh, Data Fabric)
  • Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in areas such as BI, No SQL, ML/AI, technical documentation, Data integration and TOGAF will be highly regarded
