We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at ECF Data, LLC. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and scaling data models on cloud infrastructure to provide efficient analytical and reporting capabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop data models on cloud infrastructure to provide efficient analytical and reporting capabilities.
- Partner with Product, Machine Learning, and Engineering teams to build scalable and performant analytical data models that can democratize data.
- Deploy fully operational data warehouse solutions into production using dbt Cloud and Snowflake.
- Develop data loading pipelines using SQL and dbt.
- Assist in the design and implementation of Snowflake-based analytics solutions (data lake and data warehouse).
- Expert in writing analytical and performant SQL, especially within cloud-based data warehouses like AWS.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience in the design and development of custom ETL pipelines using SQL, dbt, and Python.
- Preferably have project experience implementing data loading using dbt Cloud, on Snowflake.
- Ability to craft functional and user-friendly data products (data models, dashboards, etc.) for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Driven by logical and analytical thinking to solve problems.
- Eye for detail-oriented analysis and design.
- Preferably has dbt Developer certification.
