We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team at Equifax, Inc. As a Data Architect, you will play a critical role in designing, managing, and delivering analytical insights and solutions through data analysis, data management, and data science.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop relational and non-relational data models in various database technologies, including GCP, Oracle, and Microsoft.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data is secured, stored, managed, and used according to best practices and complies with legislation.
- Develop and implement improvements to existing data, metadata, and governance processes.
- Provide thought leadership on the use and application of data and analytics for competitive advantage.
- Mentor and guide junior resources in the team.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in data analysis and data modeling, particularly applied to common and specific business uses.
- Experience designing and developing data structures and solutions with a business's core infrastructure.
- Good understanding of cloud and on-prem technologies, structured and unstructured data, streaming and reposed data.
- Experience with data modeling techniques and tools, including Collibra.
- Understanding and ability to work with data catalogues, metadata, and operational/regulatory risk.
- Experience in analytics and AI solutions.
- Experience working in Collibra.
- Working experience in different SDLC processes, including agile and waterfall environments.
