About the Role

The Learning and Development Specialist will play a key role in designing, delivering, and managing technical-based training programs that support employee growth and career development at Cdc Data Centres.

This role is dedicated to maximizing CDC's investment in areas like employee engagement, promotions, apprenticeships, and cross-functional transitions, driving the CDC Academy's mission to elevate employee expertise and career development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the development, administration, and enhancement of the CDC Academy's curriculum, resources, and delivery methods.
  • Align the learning and development framework with organisational goals and industry trends.
  • Collaborate with teams to design and implement technical-based L&D solutions addressing specific business needs.
  • Manage the functionality and accessibility of the Learning & Development system for all employees.
  • Provide expert advice to Line Management on L&D policies, programs, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with external vendors around technical capabilities into the CDC Academy, bringing ownership for the training course and modules internal.
  • Track training materials and competency signoffs to ensure compliance and accountability.

About You:

This role would suit a candidate from either a technical-based L&D background or someone with a strong technical background (data centres, electrical, refrigeration, HVAC etc.) looking to move into an L&D/training capacity.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
  • Ability to collaborate with the wider business and external stakeholders to achieve learning strategy outcomes.
  • Experience within/knowledge of data centres would be highly desirable but not essential.

Essential:

Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
