Team Overview

The Financial Services division operates at the intersection of REA Group's extensive consumer base, the well-known Mortgage Choice brand, and the unmatched property data and insights provided by PropTrack. Our mission is to integrate these components to foster genuine innovation in how Australians discover and finance property.

The Operations team is dedicated to providing support and guidance across administration, compliance, technical assistance, and business processes. They are passionate about delivering exceptional experiences and ensuring the success of our brokers. The teams collaborate closely with our network to facilitate the seamless operation of their franchise businesses and assist them in achieving process enhancements.

Role Overview

The Operations Transformation Team is tasked with managing comprehensive transformation initiatives across both onshore and offshore operations teams. We are in search of a seasoned Transformation Project Delivery Lead to spearhead and oversee critical projects within our organization's transformation strategy. This role is essential in driving change, optimizing processes, and fulfilling strategic objectives through proficient project management and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the complete management and execution of transformation projects, including identification, benefits analysis, scope definition, setup, stream management, and transition to business-as-usual.
  • Become the subject matter expert in your project/stream, gaining a deep understanding of the current state, desired future state, and the necessary steps to achieve it.
  • Establish and facilitate streams, stream meetings, steering committee meetings, and manage outcomes through a matrixed approach involving stakeholders outside the project team.
  • Monitor project tracking and deadlines, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of business processes to identify inefficiencies, flaws, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Leverage best practices and technological advancements to propose and implement process automation and optimization strategies.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project goals, objectives, and success criteria, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Prepare and deliver detailed presentations and reports that communicate project analyses, productivity metrics, and success measures to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate interdepartmental communication to understand the impact of process changes, monitor operations, and proactively address risks.
  • Hold regular meetings with key stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Analyze data, generate insights, and make data-driven recommendations to achieve project objectives and enhance business performance.
  • Prepare and present project status updates, findings, and recommendations to clients and senior leadership.

  • Proven experience in project management, change management, and strategic planning.
  • Ability to shift between strategic perspectives and detailed execution.
  • Comfortable extracting insights and structure from incomplete information.
  • Results-oriented and adaptable in ambiguous situations.
  • Skilled in navigating around obstacles to drive initiatives forward.
  • Adept at visualizing current and future states.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities.
