About the Role:

Clinical leaders play a pivotal role in ensuring high-quality, evidence-based services are delivered in community mental health settings. As a clinical leader, you will provide expert clinical expertise and support to multidisciplinary teams of mental health professionals.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and govern clinical practice within multidisciplinary teams
  • Promote services that are grounded in recovery principles and evidence-based practices
  • Mentor and supervise team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to policy development and implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery

Necessary Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration with the relevant professional body
  • Advanced clinical and consultancy skills with post-graduation experience in mental health services
  • Understanding of mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles
  • Ability to think critically and make timely, sound clinical decisions autonomously
  • Leadership and supervision experience, upholding standards of clinical practice
