Role Overview

As a Clinical Director, you will provide expert clinical leadership and support to a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals. This involves ensuring the delivery of evidence-based services that focus on recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic clinical guidance and oversight to mental health clinicians
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote best practice in mental health care
  • Collaborate with consumers, families, carers, and stakeholders to deliver person-centred care
  • Communicate effectively and critically evaluate information to inform decision making

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications and current registration with AHPRA for Registered Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, or tertiary qualifications and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers for Social Workers
  • Minimum 5 years full-time equivalent postgraduate experience with postgraduate tertiary nursing qualifications in mental health
  • Understanding of mental health rehabilitation and recovery principles
  • Ability to think critically, problem solve, and make timely, sound clinical decisions
