About the role
Reporting to the SAP Applications Manager, this role provides expert support and strategic guidance for SAP Advanced Planner and Optimiser (APO) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) across the InfraBuild business. It ensures solutions meet business requirements and service level objectives while aligning with IT principles. The position works closely with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable planning solutions and drive continuous improvement. In addition to operational support, the role contributes to project activities including requirements gathering, solution design, data migration, configuration, and testing. It promotes the use of SAP best practices and ensures timely delivery of project outcomes. This role can be based in either Sydney (head office), Melbourne (Collins Street), Laverton VIC or Newcastle NSW.
Responsibilities
- Provide Level 3 support for SAP APO and IBP across the InfraBuild SAP landscape
- Analyse and resolve system and process issues aligned with daily operational needs
- Proactively identify opportunities for process and system improvements
- Actively work with business stakeholders and prioritise changes based on business impact
- Design solutions and write functional specifications that ensure integrated operability across modules and align with IT principles
- Execute system configuration tasks where required
- Assess, document, and communicate implications of change management processes
- Perform data extraction and conversion tasks; coordinate and assist with data cleansing and validation
- Develop, document, and execute functional unit and integrated test scenarios
- Support business teams during user acceptance testing
Qualifications / Experience
Our ideal candidate will have the following experience:
- 5+ Years Technical Subject Matter Experience in a support and project delivery capacity
- Experience in Demand, Supply, Production, Inventory and Transportation Planning in APO and IBP
- Exposure to SAP BW, CIF, CIDS will be highly regarded
- Able to understand the needs of customers and clearly engage and communicate with them
- Self-Management and inter-personal skills
- Adherence to and enforcement of IT standards and Industry Best Practice
