About the Role
We are seeking a Master Data Specialist reporting to the Inventory Manager, to join our dynamic Procurement & Supply team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for maintaining, analysing, and ensuring the integrity and accuracy of data across various systems, including SAP and Pulse Mining ERP. Your expertise will support our procurement & supply operations, enabling efficient and effective decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update master data across multiple systems (SAP and Pulse Mining) ensuring high levels of data quality, integrity, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with procurement and IT departments to support and improve data-related processes.
- Conduct regular data audits and cleanse data to remove duplications and inconsistencies.
- Develop and implement data management policies and procedures to ensure best practices in data handling and security.
- Provide training and support to users on data entry standards and best practices.
- Analyse data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Assist in the development of reports and dashboards that provide insights to the procurement team.
- Participate in projects aimed at system upgrades, migrations, and integrations.

What You’ll Bring
Relevant tertiary qualifications.
- Proven experience as a Data Specialist or Data Manager, preferably in a procurement or mining environment
- Strong knowledge of SAP and familiarity with Pulse Mining or similar industry-specific ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
- A commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest in data management technologies and practices
