Transport Planner

**About the role**:
Based in the office on site at Mayfield, as the Transport Planner, you will be an instrumental part of the transport planning team, communicating between operations, transport providers and key internal stakeholders.
The primary function of this role is the daily load planning activities across our national supply chain, ensuring safe and optimal planning outcomes are achieved and our customer promise is met.
Key responsibilities:
- Plan deliveries in accordance with our customer promise, utilising road, rail and sea freight
- Undertake load consolidation activities to maximise volumes and deliver to our customers on time and in full
- Optimise delivery performance and proactively identify areas for improvement

To be successful in this role, ideally you’ll have:
- A strong commitment to safety
- An understanding of transport and logistics planning processes
- Proven ability to build strong relationships, to contribute positively in a team environment
- A strong customer focus, with the willingness to go the extra mile for service excellence
- Excellent organisational skills, managing multiple priorities effectively
- Knowledge of complex supply chains would be an advantage
- Experience using systems such as SAP/SAP Transport Management System (TMS), and Excel will be highly regarded
