**About the role**:
Opportunity to join an established Australian Steel Manufacturer as Mechanical Team Leader. You will be responsible for managing the mechanical team at our new Mesh facility in **Newcastle**. Key responsibilities include:
- Supervising the mechanical team and providing leadership and structure
- Implement, lead and use Lean Tools, visual standards within your worksite
- Implement strategy to ensure a proactive environment and behaviour
- Identify areas of process improvement and drive these improvements throughout the team
- Review and improve the maintenance strategy based on plant performance and breakdowns
- Be able to analyze mechanical data, run reports
- Highly capable in root cause analysis and implementing actions
