As a Senior Sales Representative, you won’t just help families begin their journey—you’ll be an instrumental part of shaping our Sales function and have a clear path to Team Leader responsibilities. We’re looking for a high-performing sales expert who brings 1+ years of direct sales experience and a hunger for leadership. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

Who are we

We empower students and their studies by providing an ecosystem of highly effective tutoring, resources and support. We run weekly small-group tutoring sessions, presented by young and experienced tutors that teach in a simple, intuitive and engaging way. We also supplement these sessions with weekly workshops, complimentary 1-on-1 support and a learning portal with a comprehensive suite of resources and practice material to help students master their subjects.

What you'll do

As a Senior Sales Representative at Contour Education, you’ll thrive in a high-volume, outbound sales environment primarily handling warm and hot leads. The role centers on sales calls, prospect nurturing, and achieving KPIs tailored to both individual capability and team goals, with high performers earning substantial commissions.

- Lead Inbound & Outbound Conversations: Handle a mix of B2C outbound calls and inbound enquiries to help parents and students understand our offerings and book free trials.
- Convert Interest to Enrolments: Guide prospective families from initial contact through the enrolment process, using your expertise to address concerns and communicate the value of our programs.
- Own the Sales Pipeline: Actively manage follow-ups, nurture leads, and consistently hit (and exceed) your enrolment targets.
- Share Feedback & Ideas: Contribute to team strategy with insights that improve conversion rates and customer experience.
- Mentor Potential: Demonstrate a growing interest in leadership—this role offers a clear pathway to becoming a Team Leader within our Sales function.

Working hours span weekdays from 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM and weekends from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Ongoing professional development is supported and high achievers may progress into Team Leader roles as opportunities arise.

Experience Requirements

- Completed VCE with strong academic performance
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in direct Sales roles (call centre, inside sales, gym sales, or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree (or currently studying) in Business, Commerce, or a related field
- Understanding of the sales funnel , buyer psychology, and persuasive communication to drive trial-to-enrolment conversions

- Genuine Desire to Help Students & Parents (it's our goal to help students achieve their potential at Contour, and we want their out-of-class experiences such as sales to be as smooth as possible)
- Full Academic Year Commitment (e.g. no overseas exchange trips for 8 weeks :()
- Ability to Commit to 30 Hours minimum (e.g. can't constantly reschedule or miss work)
- Travel to Melbourne CBD
- Sign an NDA (e.g. can't distribute our resources/company info to others)
- Past VCE Graduate (we still accept applications from non-VCE graduates in exceptional circumstances)
- Bi-lingual -able to speak a second language (desirable not essential)
- Above market rate compensation.

This role is advertised as full-time but we are open to offering part-time hours. A minimum 30 hours per week of commitment is required.
