MANUFACTURE:
Customer Service are required to assist the sales team to identify heat exchangers, utilizing equipment make and model, OEM part numbers, and dimensional sketches. liaise with engineering to confirm sizing and performance.
OVERHAUL:
Customer Service are required to price and quote all MESABI overhauls. Utilizing assessment sheets, pictures and liaising with the overhaul supervisor.
SERVICE:
Customer Service are required to price and quote the servicing of all (NON-MESABI) heat exchangers. Utilizing assessment sheets, pictures and liaising with the service supervisor.
PARTS:
Customer Service are required to price and quote all parts, in stock, manufactured, and vendor supplied. Utilizing our inhouse software, stock control sheets and liaising with vendors.
QUALITY:
Customer are required to manage all customer complaints. Utilizing our in house software and liaising with all departments to ensure a positive outcome.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Liaise with the sales, customers, and engineering to identify replacement heat exchangers and parts.- Calculate price and generate quotations for all heat exchangers, parts, and services.- Process all purchase orders.- Manage customer queries and complaints.- In house sales.
PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
- Attends all toolbox and safety meetings.- Observes safe work practices and follows safety procedures.- Maintains a high standard of housekeeping.- Presents for work on time and in a fit state for all shifts.- Attendance for work must not exceed the sick days allowed per year (if so, justification would be needed).- Carries out all duties directed by the shift supervisor or management in a safe and timely manner.- All work-related injuries, incidents, and hazards to be reported immediately to management.- Process improvement projects/activities and system audits documented appropriately and completed within agreed timeframes.- Positive and collaborative contributions during team meetings.
PERSON SPECIFICATIONS (COMPETENCIES):
License & Certificate:
- Australian “C” Class Drivers’ License (_desirable_).- Trade Qualification (_Mechanical, Radiator, Automotive or equivalent is desirable_).
Experience/Qualifications:
- Sound mechanical knowledge/aptitude _(desirable)._- Knowledge of the imperial measurement system _(essential)._- Experience working on heavy duty equipment, automotive equipment _(desirable)._- Basic computer and software knowledge _(essential)._- Understand of Safe Work Practices/Stop Work Instructions/JHAs/Risk Assessments _(essential)._
