This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and rapidly growing Abrasives company located in Somerton (Melbourne) VIC. This is a newly opened branch and we are recruiting for an experienced admin/office all rounder to take the lead and action all aspects including assisting with warehousing tasks.
About the Role:
This is a hands on, Multi-faceted position and would really suit someone who can work autonomously and enjoys a variety in their work.
Key responsibilities will include:
Customer Service
Receiving and dispatching orders
Liaising with customers
Assisting the sales team with generating quotes and invoices
Data entry and general admin duties
Process payments (Credit Card/Eftpos)
General stock control
About you:
To be successful in this position we are looking for someone who:
Has outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Doesn't get bored working solo and can self motivate themselves
Has a proactive approach to their work
Has previous experience in a similar admin role including receiving and dispatching goods
Has great computer skills (MS outlook, word and excel) and has previous experience using accounting software
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
**Experience**:
- Office administration: 1 year (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
