We design, manufacture and install modular buildings for education, affordable housing, mining, custodial and commercial sectors across all mainland Australian states. Our recreational vehicle work includes servicing as well as manufacture and distribute leading products. We work as One Fleetwood across our group of companies, including Building Solutions, Community Solutions and RV Solutions.
**About the role**
Reporting to the Group HR Manager, the HR Administrator is responsible for a broad range of administrative tasks across the entire employee lifecycle. The role will also contribute to the delivery of HR activities and programs that support the HR team to deliver on its strategic objectives.
This is a full time position, based out of our office in Somerton and the successful applicant will work closely with the HR Team to ensure business processes, systems and procedures are implemented and maintained.
**The key responsibilities of the role include**:
- Manage the HR inbox and act as a first point of reference for HR queries.
- Co-ordinate and manage onboarding and offboarding for employees.
- Undertake administrative related tasks relating to cyclical activities such as performance reviews and salary reviews.
- Manage apprenticeships, including engaging with local AASN providers to facilitate registration of new apprentices, actioning incentive claims, monitoring apprentice progression and processing rate increases.
- Manage the HR aspects of the payroll process.
- Coordinate processes, documents and records for employee movements and changes, including updating organisational charts.
- Coordinate training and development requirements, make course bookings, liaise with attendees and facilitators and manage and track attendance.
- Generate and maintain personnel files and maintain all HR records in the HRIS.
- Maintain all HR forms and templates ensuring they are up to date and uploaded to the Intranet.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team where required such as maintaining registers, filing, setting up meetings and other tasks as required.
- Manage the HR Calendar and ensure HR cyclical activities are scheduled and carried out on time.
- Collate HR data to produce regular and ad-hoc HR reporting as required.
- Manage purchasing for the HR team, including raising purchase orders and receipting invoices.
**About You**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Tertiary qualification in a Human Resources discipline or equivalent is desirable.
- Strong administration skills with excellent attention to detail and quality control.
- Strong organisational and time management skills including the ability to manage changing priorities and to work to deadlines.
- Ability to act with professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
- Demonstrated aptitude for analysis, development of solutions and initiatives.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to establish and sustain effective working relationships.
- Excellent communication skills, including competency to produce professionally written documentation.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and preferably Visio.
- Exposure to and experience using databases and HR software.
- Exposure to workplace legislation and industrial instruments would be an advantage.
