**What this opportunity involves**:
The Role

The Bids and Transition Specialist will be responsible for obtaining competitive vendor pricing in a timely manner to support new business bids working with the solutions development (SD) team and respective Sourcing and Procurement team members as required. You will also be responsible for leading the procurement aspect of new business transitions to ensure 100% Go-Live readiness with seamless changeover of outsourced services through to early optimisation stage.

**Your key responsibilities include but are not limited to**:
Compile, review and analyse bid documents and pricing templates to understand scope, technical requisites and required pricing structure.
Select the appropriate pricing methodology to ensure most competitive and high-quality pricing for submission.
Read and understand transition documents including Deal Summary, transition tracker, vendor list and scope matrix.
Lead the communications to incumbent new client vendors using standard communication templates.
Periodically review the overall bidding and transition processes and tools with the Head of Bids and Transitions
Regularly attend and actively participate in the scheduled weekly/transition and optimisation calls.

You will have proven experience in procurement, consulting, purchasing, sourcing and negotiating of vendor contracts drawing upon good contract management and problem-solving skills.
Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple clients’ stakeholders and projects is desirable as is an applied knowledge of facilities management, maintenance operations, engineering, and risk management.

It is expected you have competency in financial modelling, feasibility studies and total cost of ownership analysis and have demonstrated experience with influencing at all levels of the business and work for a range of public and private sector clients.
