Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Risk and Bidding Specialist to join our team in Sydney. As a key member of the Bidding Team, you will be responsible for managing and reporting risk on all bidding activities.

Role Responsibilities
  • Implement effective risk management practices in the bidding function to ensure alignment with client and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a risk-aware culture within the business by providing awareness training where gaps are identified.
  • Review EOI and RFP documentation to identify potential risks and collaborate with the bidding team to develop strategies for mitigation.
  • Lead risk workshops and review sessions with relevant teams and senior management to ensure a comprehensive understanding of project risks.
  • Establish and maintain detailed risk registers to track and manage identified risks throughout the tendering process.
  • Assist the planning department in schedule risk analyses and provide support to senior management with detailed risk reports and contingency calculations.
Requirements
  • Degree in Operations, Engineering, or related field/equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in a relevant field, including exposure to risk tools and methodologies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated, assertive, with good attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
