**About the Role**
- Engage with the Darebin community to creatively and collaboratively enhance library services and ensure we have welcoming library spaces.
- Develop and implement customer experience initiatives that prioritise inclusion, equity and respect for all
- Manage, lead and develop the Customer Service Team and support the team through change (up to 10 direct reports and approximately 30 secondary reports including casual library officers)
- Provide operational and branch leadership, while efficiently managing operational resources.
- Agreement to work one evening shift per week as a part of standard hours, and agreement to work a minimum of one rostered Saturday and one rostered Sunday shift in each 8-week cycle. Time in Lieu or additional pay, as relevant, applies to weekend work.

**Skills & Experience**
- Experience in customer service or experience and/or delivery of community-focussed services or programs and/or project management
- Experience in team management and leadership (change management an advantage)
- The ability to learn and develop new systems of work and to maintain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Strong organisational and communication skills
