About the Role

Working across Council's City Works and Parks & Open Space departments, the Team Leader Customer, Compliance & Operations Support is responsible for ensuring high standards of administration across the departments with a customer orientated focus aimed at achieving high standards of service compliance across the Operations Centre and its staff.


  • Lead with an emphasis on meeting customers needs by driving Administration and Customer Service excellence;
  • Develop and manage all Operations Centre service compliance reporting & auditing;
  • Manage all Operations Centre based services correspondence with internal and external customers;
  • Be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of operational policies, programs, processes and systems with particular emphasis on improvement, compliance and customer service.

Skills & Experience

  • Relevant tertiary qualification/s or several years of achievement in business management and/or Council operational management;
  • Capacity to effectively lead and manage staff, including ability to facilitate employee development, model expected behaviours, and manage performance;
  • Detailed working knowledge and high level analytical skills of Operations Centrebased services, with ability to prepare comprehensive, evidencebased reports to inform decisionmaking;
  • Sound financial management and strategic planning skills.
