Are you a warm and friendly person who loves making others feel at ease? We’re searching for a Receptionist who can bring a personal touch to our practice, ensuring every client feels valued and supported from the moment they step through our doors—or connect with us online. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for our clients, and your positive attitude and organisational skills will help keep everything running smoothly.
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Client Interaction**:
- Greet clients with a warm smile, both in person and over the phone, making them feel like they’re at home.
- Answer phone calls, handle inquiries, and provide information about our services and practitioners in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Schedule client appointments through our online booking portal with accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain a calm and comforting presence, especially when clients are feeling distressed.
**Administrative Duties**:
- Manage the front desk, ensuring a welcoming and organised reception area.
- Handle mail, answer phones, and keep our records up to date while respecting client confidentiality.
- Work closely with our team to ensure smooth daily operations and provide general support as needed.
**Social Media Management**:
- Assist in managing our social media presence by creating and scheduling engaging posts that reflect our friendly and caring approach.
- Respond to messages and interact with our online community to promote our practice and connect with clients.
**General Support**:
- Help with organising and promoting events or workshops that support our clients' mental health.
- Provide administrative support, including preparing documents and managing supplies, to ensure our practice runs smoothly.
**Qualifications**:
- A friendly, empathetic nature with excellent communication skills and a genuine ability to make people feel comfortable.
- A willingness to learn, seek out answers, and show leadership.
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to contribute to our welcoming atmosphere.
- Basic experience with social media platforms and content creation.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain client confidentiality.
Would suit an undergraduate allied health student.
