**About you**

We are seeking to employ an Executive Support Officer to join our Governance & Risk department at Woollahra Council on a permanent full-time basis.

***
Reporting to the Senior Executive Support Officer, you will support the effective and efficient running of the Corporate and Council support activities, by providing internal customer support across the organisation in relation to printing, scanning, ordering of stationery and meeting room management along with providing administrative support to the team.

***
You will also act as the back up driver for the Mayor and support the Senior Executive Support Officer to maintain the Mayor’s Office and provide ongoing support to the Mayor &/or Councillors and staff in relation to Council, Committee meetings and/or events (including pre and post set up).

Due to the nature of this position, you will need to be available to work outside of normal business hours and on weekends (as required). You will be paid the relevant allowances and/or overtime in recognition of this.

- **Experience in a corporate and/or civic support role.****:

- **Demonstrated ability to be adaptable, flexible and punctual in carrying out duties.****:

- **Well-developed communication skills, personable and well-groomed.****:

- **Demonstrated administration skills.****:

- **Demonstrated time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.****:

- **Demonstrated commitment to providing excellent customer service.****:

- **Valid Class C drivers licence with a good driving record and comfortable driving during all weather conditions.****:

- **Ability to undertake manual handling duties (as required).****:

- **Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and autonomously.****:

- **Ability to work outside of core business hours (as required).****:

- **Demonstrated understanding of WH&S and EEO principles.***

**Desirable Criteria**

- **Experience in food preparation and handling and/or Food Safety certificate or willingness to obtain Food Safety Certificate.****:

- **Certificate in First Aid or willingness to obtain First Aid Certificate.****:

- **Experience as a Fire Warden or willingness to undertake Fire Warden Training.***
