**Job Description**:
**What you will do**

This is your opportunity to join carsales as a Marketing Automation Specialist and play a crucial role in driving carsales’ digital performance, by designing and delivering personalised 1:1 communication experiences to our customers.

Reporting to the Marketing Automation Manager, you will build and execute cross-channel campaigns across our marketing automation technology stack and work collaboratively with the broader Marketing team as well as the Product, Data and Insights teams to deliver personalised, relevant communications to our members and continually experiment, test, and learn to improve customer engagement.
- Develop lifecycle customer journeys and optimisation through creative data-driven testing, multivariate and A/B testing.
- Understand and share expertise to participate in the innovation, development and implementation of new Marketing Automation features, system integration and ongoing development.
- Demonstrate understanding, motivations, and expertise to manage audience targeting, data management, campaign proofing, testing, and launching.
- Gather, analyse, and communicate campaign and journey results to wider team and key stakeholders.
- Analyse marketing automation performance and journeys, report on results regularly and share learnings with the wider business, helping to drive business enablement.
- Continuously monitor industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative technologies in marketing automation and customer lifecycle management. Implement innovative approaches to enhance customer experience and drive business results.

**Qualifications**:
**What we are looking for**
- Demonstrated inclusive and interpersonal attributes that connect you to our behaviours (we change the game, we own it, we step in, we are curious, we don’t take ourselves too seriously).
- Expertise in understanding audience data and using SQL in development of audience segmentation and data processes.
- Experience reporting on marketing automation performance (experience with Google Analytics a plus).
- Ability to develop digital customer experiences that drive engagement and profitability.
- Any experience with CDPs will be favourable.
