**The Role**
Make a difference in our community
An exciting opportunity to Join the Children & Families Department and play a key role in leading research, insights, and service planning. This vital position within the Service Planning and Infrastructure unit will use data analytics to influence both service and infrastructure strategies.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Research and analyse community needs and data platforms, both qualitative and quantitative, to identify trends within the City of Whittlesea and across the State for effective service planning.
- Conduct detailed research and analysis in response to legislative changes and priority projects.
- Manage the ongoing collection, monitoring, and updates of the Kindergarten Infrastructure and Services Plan (KISP).
- Create forecasts on population and service demand to inform infrastructure and service planning.
- Develop and maintain reporting and tracking mechanisms for the Children & Families department.
- Contribute to service planning projects to enhance the department operations
