**About the Role**:
As an Asset Officer, Asset and Facility Services you will play a vital role in supporting the effective management of assets and facilities across South Australian state schools. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for a variety of administrative functions and activities that align with departmental policies and objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the implementation of asset management initiatives, policies, and procedures.
- Providing accurate advice and information to the Minister for Education, senior executives, managers, and relevant personnel on asset services project issues.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement objectives of the directorate by supporting various asset management projects.
This role is essential to ensuring that state schools' facilities are well-maintained, efficiently managed, and aligned with the department's goals for educational infrastructure.

**Special Conditions**:
The successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry. The incumbent will be required to undertake RRHAN -EC (Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education Care) Facilitator Lead (Masterclass) extended course or the online (Fundamentals) course which will be required to be updated every three years.

**Remuneration**:
ASO4 $76,561 - $80,256 per annum (1.0 FTE), plus superannuation.
